PLEASE PRAY FOR LENNY DECOTEAU
Wrapped in Mommy's Love I'm going to tell you something I hope you'll never have to know. I'll tell you how a heart can break & tears can constant flow. I lost my baby girl you see, an Angel in my eyes. God chose to take her hand one day & led her to the skies. But please do not forget my baby she was a person too, and forever she will live inside of me & you. So, please don't ever tell me that time will heal my pain, because not even time can bring her back again. Just tell me she is happy in that land way up above. She's snuggled in an Angel's wings all wrapped in Mommy's love.
This memorial site is dedicated to our beautiful, precious daughter, Shayla AnnMarie Lenoir. Thank you for visiting and keeping our memory of Shayla alive. My firstborn, Shayla was born a perfect healthy baby in Minot, N.D on February 21, 2000, loved by so many, the hospital room was filled with friends and relatives kissing her, holding her and welcoming her to our family. Everyone said she looked just like me.
Sadly at the age of 11 1/2 months, Shayla passed away in a Minneapolis hospital on February 10, 2001, from Pnuemococcal Meningitis. This sickness came on fast without warning leaving us all stunned and in disbelief. Taken too soon, my beautiful Shayla will be loved and missed forever. I still cannot understand why she had to go away. The sadness just overwhelms my soul. She was my life, I lived for her. Its my hope that this website will in some small measure, bring comfort, hope and peace, to help ease my grief as well as others. I see her in her sister's smile, her brother's face, in my eyes when I look in the mirror and in the hearts of everyone that loved her. Everyday I wonder what she would look like now, what her new favorites would be.
Shayla lived life to the fullest in her short time here, she was a happy and energetic baby full of life and laughter. My girl was so happy all the time, she hardly ever cried. She was walking before she turned 9 months old, my sweet girl, my perfect baby. Given the nickname "Pretty Flower" by her Great Uncle Keith, her favorite word was "daddy" and her favorite toy was her ball. A stroke of her hand across my head and the biggest kiss ever would always make me feel so loved, content and at peace. My girl would put a smile on everyone's face. She was beautiful, and so very precious. My sweet baby, my pride and joy.
The mention of my child's name, May bring tears to my eyes But it never fails to bring Music to my ears. If you are really my friend Let me hear the beautiful music of her name. It soothes my broken heart. And sings to my soul..

Your passing seem like yesterday. A sorrow that still sings of all the tears of emptiness the loss of you brings. Your day of birth & burial, turned out by chance the same. And so each year when it comes around we feel both joy & pain. Our sadness comes from missing you, and miss you from love. And love from the Love In YOU that we became part of. Your love is still alive in us, we feel ever new. Our mourning's filled with happiness By Memories Of You.
